Survey on Monitoring the Paris Declaration Principles

From 28 February to 2 March 2005, at the High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness held in Paris, Ministers of developed and developing countries responsible for promoting development, together with Heads of multilateral and bilateral development institutions, representing 90 countries and 26 multilateral organisations, resolved to reform the ways they deliver and manage aid.

The Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness is an international agreement. Over one hundred Ministers, Heads of Agencies and other Senior Officials adhered and committed their countries and organisations to continue to increase efforts in harmonising, aligning and managing aid for results, with a set of monitorable actions and indicators.

It was endorsed on 2 March 2005.
