Storage and Demurrage Charges

Demurrage costs

If merchandise is stored or kept more than 30 days at Dili Port, you must pay 5% of the value of the goods to Customs.

If merchandise is stored or kept more than 20 days at Dili Airport, you must pay 5% of the value of the goods to Customs.

Dili Port costs

Containers can be stored at Dili Port free of charges for the first five days.

However, if the goods are not released within this period you will have to pay:

• around $ 25 US per day for a 20ft container and
• around $ 60 US per day for containers bigger than 20ft.
