Petroleum Revenue Management Department
This department is responsible for issues related with the estimation and monitoring of petroleum revenue.
Our role and responsibilities
- Maintain and develop the model for petroleum revenue and its data, and determine relevant assumptions to be applied in the calculations
- Give advice on transfers from the Petroleum Fund to the State Budget, describe the fiscal policy implications of various strategies and analyse necessary measures to reduce the vulnerability of the domestic economy and the impact of the fiscal policy of changes in exogenous variables
- Liaise with relevant Ministry of Finance bodies on issues related to the fiscal regime in the petroleum sector and be their counterpart on related petroleum issues, and
- Provide advice on transparency and accountability in accordance with the Extractive Industries Transparent Initiative and participate in the National Working Group on Extracting Industry Transparency Initiative.
