| Here at the Ministry of Finance Aid Effectiveness Directorate (AED), we value the honest and open dialogue we enjoy with Development Partners working in Timor-Leste. In fact, it is this dialogue that allows us to maintain our reputation as effective facilitators of donor coordination. One of the many ways in which we seek to sustain this dialogue is through our weekly Development Partner Engagement Sessions. These sessions, in which we invite selected Development Partners to discuss their development programming in Timor-Leste with us, are informal yet frank exchanges of opinions and ideas as to how to best calibrate Development Partner spending within Timor-Leste in line with the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness and the subsequent Accra Agenda for Action (AAA) to which Timor-Leste is a signatory.
During such sessions, Development Partners are requested to provide a short briefing, typically through PowerPoint presentation outlining responses to the following questions:
