The Development Partnership Management Unit has a strategic role in supporting the Government of Timor-Leste and Development Partners to effectively implement development cooperation for the improvement of the lives of the people of Timor-Leste.
DPMU adheres to New Deal principles that were agreed in Busan in 2011 and ensures that development assistance is in line with Timor-Leste’s Strategic Development Plan 2011-2030.

The DPMU has worked towards fulfilling its mandate in several ways, including but not limited to, spearheading the Aid Management Effectiveness Policy, the maintenance of up-to-date donor spending information through the Aid Transparency Portal, facilitating dialogue, and through the publication of reports. The DPMU stands ready and is fully committed to improving the working relationship between development partners and the Government.
